Install the Chrome extension

Send any job posting to your Jobapply board in one click. It works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc). It isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet, so you install it by hand. It takes about two minutes.

Download the extension (.zip)
  1. 1

    Unzip the download

Extract the zip somewhere permanent, for example Documents/jobapply-extension. Chrome reads the extension from that folder, so don't delete or move it afterwards.
  2. 2

    Open the extensions page

In the address bar go to chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode (top right).
  3. 3

    Load it

Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder (the one containing manifest.json). Then pin it from the puzzle-piece menu so the icon stays visible.
  4. 4

    Add your API key

Generate a key on the Developers page, click the extension icon, choose Set API key, paste it and save.
  5. 5

    Send a job

Open any job posting, click the extension icon and press Send to Jobapply. The job appears on your board, with its description, deadline and ATS score filled in where the page allows.

Good to know

  • Chrome may show a "developer mode extensions" notice when it starts. That is normal for manual installs.
  • The extension only acts when you click it, and sends only the address of the page you are on.
  • To update, download the zip again, replace the folder's contents, and press the reload icon on its card in chrome://extensions.
